Product Overview

The PLK series vertical impact crusher is a newly developed sand-making equipment by our company, characterized by its large feed particle size and high sand production rate. It can be used as a secondary crusher, operating effectively across a wide range—from fine crushing to coarse grinding. As a key piece of equipment in the sand and gravel industry, the vertical impact crusher plays a crucial role in both particle shape and particle size adjustments. Specifically, during particle size adjustment, the production ratio of particles ranging from 0 to 5 mm exceeds 30% to 60%; meanwhile, in particle shape adjustment, the cubicity rate reaches 56% to 60%.

How it works

The motor drives the crusher spindle via a belt, setting the impeller into high-speed rotation. Material enters the crusher through the feeding hopper and is rapidly accelerated as it strikes the evenly distributed guide vanes and flow-channel linings of the rotating impeller—reaching speeds of 50 to 70 m/s. This material is then ejected outward, impacting the impact plates mounted within the crushing chamber, where it undergoes further crushing and rebounding. The material changes its direction of motion and collides again with newly ejected material from the impeller. After multiple collisions and frictional forces, the material is finally discharged through the lower discharge port, passing through a circulating screening system to form a closed-loop process. Throughout the entire crushing operation, materials continuously collide with one another, leading to efficient size reduction.
